Hello guys,

This is your chairperson speaking. Most of you think BLITZ was unsuccessful, but every effort is a success. It was a great communication practice for most of us.

Based on statistics, our class sold an estimated amount of $300.00 with only 26 pupils. Next Saturday, I think there'll be another BLITZ. Imagine if we had FULL ATTENDANCE on that day. That will roughly be around $600.00 which will be enough to at least seize second position in school. As of 15 February, we have a total of $3300.00. I think with today's effort we have seized second position in Secondary 1.

I hope you guys won't be discouraged. =D You must be very thick-skinned. And you must put on an act. And I think most of you don't know that we accept donations of any amount as we will be bring in pupils from various special schools, eg. Chao Yang School.

So we must continue to ADD OIL and make sure we seize the FIRST POSITION in the school, yeh?

WE ARE, AFTERALL, 1 DEVOTION!

Hello 1 Devotion,

There is two announcements;

1. $15 Popular voucher
   If you have been observant enough, 1 Devotion won a total of $15 Popular voucher from Lantern Making and Hamper Making. To celebrate our success, we will use this $15 voucher and a sum from our class fund to buy something for everyone in the class. This is to thank all of you for helping out one way or another.
   
   P.S: Elaine and Winnie are to contact me immediately upon seeing this post.
   
2. Common Tests
   Please take note that during common test period, the assembly point will be in our ADMIN BLOCK HOMEROOM. Not our Art Room. The morning devotion will be made through the PA system.

Here's a revised version of the class expectations.

1. English: Pass - 100% Distinction - 55%
   
2. Mathematics: Pass - 85% Distinction - 30%
   
3. History: Pass - 85% Distinction - 30%
   
4. Science: Pass - 90% Distinction - 35%
   
5. Literature: Pass - 75% Distinction - 30%
   
6. HomeEc/D&T: Pass - 100% Distinction - 40%
   
7. Mother Tongue: Pass - 85% Distinction - 45%
   
8. Higher Mother Tongue: Pass - 95% Distinction - 45%
   
9. Arts: Pass - 95% Distinction - 45%

Preferred Grade: A1 and A2
Average Grade: A2 and B3

This is based on my views and we have to aim for the stars! English is compulsory to pass. If we fail, we won't be allowed to get promoted to Sec 2. Same goes for Higher MT. Let's all work together to STRIVE. =D

I will be MIA-ing from the class blog for 2weeks , cause i'm banned from the comp ._. . But I'm here to update things that needs to be updated . Haha . Erm , I think we should have an ExCo outing first , then we will have a class outing .? I'm not sure when the ExCo members are free , so can you all please tag / post to tell me when you are free ? .

There will be further updates on the date of the ExCo outing , and I will also update when there will be a class outing .

The MSG for Mother Tongue is 2.57
the MSG for Mathematics is 1.32
The MSG for Science is 1.83
the MSG for Literature is 2.44
The MSG for D&T/Home Econs is 2.10
The MSG for art is 2.20

sorry, but if you ask me what is MSG, i have to say that i've forgotten. =x
I only remember that the lower the MSG, the better the target is.

Please study for the common tests.

& EVERYONE has to pass ALL subjects! No exceptions!

The history test & maths test are over, yipee(?).
Well, if you've failed, it's okay as it's the 1st time, so don't blame yourself.

But, common tests are a whole different story, it covers up 40% of the CA1. 40%!!

So please study for the common tests. the maths common test is on 15 Feb, Friday.

Make Mr Tan Kim Boon proud of us, he's quite disappointed as 18 people failed the maths test. =x

so let's make him proud by doing well in this test okays?!
